Tomato Bacon and Jam Smoked Gouda Grilled Cheese Recipe

Tomato Bacon and Jam Smoked Gouda Grilled Cheese Recipe

Gear up for a grilled cheese that's about to become your outdoor cooking legend! Grab a pack of Sugartown Smoked Cheese – whether it's Swiss, Cooper Sharp, or Gouda, your call – and let the magic begin.

Picture this: gooey melted cheese, slices of fresh tomato, and the smoky goodness of Sugartown's smoked cheese, all cozy between slices of your favorite artisan bread. But hold on, there's a wild card – smear on some uncured TBJ Bacon Jam for that sweet and savory punch. Layer it all together, toss it on the grill with a generous buttery hug, and voila!

1 pkg. Sugartown Smoked Cheese: Swiss, Cooper Sharp or Gouda etc. (sliced), 1 tomato (sliced), 1 jar uncured TBJ Bacon Jam, 8 Tbs butter (unsalted), your favorite artisan bread slices.

Method:

  1. Spread each slice of bread with softened butter on the outside.
  2. Inside, schmear one side of the bread with some Bacon Jam.
  3. Lay a slice of tomato and sliced cheese on each half & sandwich the pieces of bread together.
  4. Melt some butter to coat your warmed skillet. Add your sandwich + cook until bread is golden brown & crunchy, about 2-3 minutes on each side until cheese is melted.

One bite of this gourmet grilled cheese, and you’ll never want a regular grilled cheese again!
